This year will mark the 44th Annual Balloon Rally. The event is the largest event in Allegany County and takes place in charming Wellsville, New York.

The sky comes alive with vibrant colors and assorted shapes as close to 40 balloons take to the sky in a mass ascension. The place to be is Island Park as the balloons are inflated across four baseball fields. The natural amphitheater provides an opportunity to be in the action and with over 35 vendors selling everything from traditional carnival food to to balloon memorabilia you will not leave empty handed. Each year balloon teams from around the United States and Canada return to Wellsville in what is known as the friendliest rally in the world.
